The pool was absolutely gorgeous, perfect for relaxing during the summer. The large size of the pool meant that there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, and there was even a designated area for children. Additionally, the location of the hotel was key - only a 15-minute walk to the nearest taverna near the beach, making it easy to enjoy the local cuisine and waterfront views.
One small drawback was that the room we booked on the ground floor had limited views as it was partly below ground level. However, paying a few extra euros for an upper floor room would have easily solved this issue.

Great location with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. The pool was a highlight, providing a refreshing place to relax. The apartment was clean and well-equipped for our needs.
The bathroom was a bit small, which made it a bit uncomfortable for us. It would have been better if it had been a bit more spacious.

We got incredible value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious and welcoming, with a comfortable bed and a delightful surprise of welcome raki waiting for us. The location was perfect, with a beautiful pool and a hammock in the garden for star-gazing. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even delivering our forgotten identity card to our next destination. Captain Tom was an amazing host and we loved chatting with him and listening to his stories.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was having more cooking equipment available in the kitchen. While the facilities were adequate for preparing breakfast and salads for one person, they were not ideal for cooking for a larger group or for longer stays.

Lovely place, really peaceful. The staff is great. The swimming pool is huge. We had 2 fabulous terraces with view on the mountains and the sea. The apartments were larger than most of the ones we rent in Creta. There were some books in French, English and German in the room. A picturesque garden with mountains in the background. Absolutely quiet area. Spotless cleanliness. And hospitality! The hospitality, and friendliness of the host deserve to be mentioned separately. It is a one-off life experience to meet such a host who makes your stay such a pure pleasure.
No shower curtain, the WC flush is a bit noisy.

A wonderful stay at Captain Tom's! We were only there for one night, but everything exceeded our expectations. The host was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was comfortable, with a cozy bed, and everything looked exactly like the photos. The location was perfect if you enjoy peace and calm, surrounded by olive trees with a breathtaking view of the sea. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the garden was absolutely stunning. Plus, there were plenty of amazing tavernas in the village for delicious dinners. We can't wait to come back for a longer stay next time!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Nous avons été logés comme des rois au 1er étage : grande chambre, balcon privatif, salon collectif avec canapé et télé, petit déjeuner copieux sur terrasse agréable, gérante discrète et sympa.
Rien, tout était merveilleux.

Located just moments away from the beautiful sandy beach, this hotel offers the perfect spot for nature lovers. The nearby restaurant, Akti, serves delicious homemade food, and there is also a sheltered beach within walking distance. The hotel boasts a green and well-maintained garden, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with clean and modern bathrooms. The friendly staff provide excellent service, and guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning. One minor downside is the occasional noise from other guests, who sometimes forget to keep the noise level down late at night.
